How leasing your property works

  1. Consultation and listing agreementAntonio reviews the property, the rent, the terms you want and your timing. The leasing fee is negotiable and is agreed in writing before any marketing starts.
  2. MLS listing and advertisingYour property is listed on the MLS and advertised on rental sites such as Zillow, Apartments.com and Facebook Marketplace.
  3. Inquiries and showingsEvery inquiry gets a response, and Antonio confirms each showing time.
  4. ApplicationsApplicants apply online, and Antonio reviews each application with you so you make the decision.
  5. The leasePrepared on the California Association of REALTORS® residential lease with the required disclosures, and signed electronically, landlord first, then tenant.
  6. Move-inMove-in funds by cashier's check, proof of renters insurance before move-in, a move-in condition statement, and keys handed over on the lease start date.

Leasing or selling?

If you are deciding between leasing and selling, Antonio can prepare a personalized home value range so you can compare both options. For selling, see seller services. Looking for a place to rent instead? Search rentals.
